Of course, all massages are customized to fit your specific needs.
Medically Necessary Massage
Massage client that has been referred to me by a physician or chiropractor. Usually covered by workmans compensation, or auto accident personal injury insurance. Not all cases qualify. I have specialized prescription pads for your Doctor to use.
Chair Massage
An alternative to a full body massage. Incorporating a variety of techniques while fully clothed in a specially designed chair. Great for the office person on the go. Enables the therapist to access the neck and shoulder region with ease and comfort to the client. Can be 30 minutes or 1 hour.
General Massage
A combination of Swedish, Trigger, and Hot stones to greatly enhance your therapeutic massage session.
Hot Stones
This uses warm stones that gives penetrating heat to the muscles allowing the therapist to do deep tissue work. Stones are placed in varying positions on the body for energy balancing or may be used by the therapist for specific trigger-point work. The stones elicit physical and mental relaxation and a spiritual connection to earth energy giving you a deeper relaxation. Can be used as Cold Stone Therapy also.
Deep Tissue
More specific than the general massage this work focuses on your problem areas. It is excellent for eliminating tension from your body, reducing tightness and muscle pain. It also realigns the body and frees your movement through myofascial work and trigger therapy.
Cranial Sacral
This technique is extremely gentle, non-intrusive, yet very specific. The CS practitioner's attention is on the cranio-sacral rhythm, a very subtle movement, and light touch is applied on the cranial bones, the sacrum and at the interconnected membranes. After a session you will feel deeply relaxed and balanced.Foot & Hand
Reflexology
The focus is to stimulate and clear congestions in the meridians, allowing the energy to flow freely so that the body can achieve a state of balance. This self-healing process is facilitated by specific acupressure and massage techniques applied to the major reflex points and meridians on the feet and hands.
Lymph
A light touch that is a highly effective technique for purifying and rejuvenating the body by stimulating the lymph drainage system. It helps flushing out toxins and activating the immune system. You will feel relieved from stress and refreshed. Especially helpful to those already experiencing lymphedema.
Sports Massage
This is grounded in classical Swedish massage and incorporates techniques of: compression, trigger point therapy , and cross fiber friction. Deeper and more vigorous than a regular massage. Can be used pre or post event.
